Max Trenorden

Max joined the Essential Personnel Board in 2013, at the conclusion of a long and esteemed career in Western Australian politics as a member of the National Party. His 30 years in politics contained many career highlights including Member and Chair of the Public Accounts Committee in the Legislative Assembly; Member of the Standing Committee on Procedure and Privileges and Chair, Standing Committee on Public Administration. Max was appointed Leader of the Parliamentary National Party in 2001 and held this position until 2005. Max served his constituents in the Avon/Wheat belt electorate with passion and commitment making positive changes to many lives.

In his position as the Chairperson of Essential Personnel he brings a wealth of knowledge in relation to state and federal government, legislature, and parliamentary processes. In addition to his political experience, he has agricultural experience from working on the family farm and good business acumen as a result of running his own Insurance, Superannuation and Financial Broking Agency.
