Essential Personnel Lifestyle Services are currently seeking support workers to work 1:1 within the community with clients who have disabilities.  These roles will require that you assist individuals with personal care, community participation, domestic tasks and learning support, and will require travel between the areas.  We are currently recruiting for the metro area (Chittering to Mandurah) and also the Wheatbelt (Moora and surrounding areas).
  • A National Police Clearance obtained within the last 3 months
  • A valid Working with Children Check
  • A current First Aid Certificate
  • A valid C class driver’s license and reliable vehicle

  • Experience in working with complex and challenging behaviours
  • Demonstrated experience in implementing individuals NDIS plans
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in assisting individuals with disabilities achieve their goals
  • Sound understanding of professional boundaries and standards
  • A person centred approach
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including case notes, progress reports and incident reports
  • Understanding of mandatory reporting requirements
  • Ability to follow direction
  • Ability to work effectively as a team, and autonomously
  • Basic computer skills, and be able to complete and submit progress reports at the end of each shift
