Providing NDIS services and support to individuals with disabilities in the Perth Metro and Wheatbelt regions of Western Australia. Our focus is a flexible, innovative and holistic approach designed to reflect your needs and choices.

Assistance in Daily Life, Health and Wellbeing

Essential Personnel will work with you and assist you to improve your practical skills in areas, such as:

  • Shopping
  • Cooking
  • Healthy eating and menu choices
  • Gardening
  • Budgeting
  • Household cleaning

Accomodation & Personal Support

Essential Personnel have facilities which can be used as a hub for supports and services.

  • Skills Centre, Northam
Other supports include:
  • NDIS Supported Independent Living services.
  • Giving your carers a break
  • Support and assistance to prepare, plan and accompany you on holidays and breaks
  • Daytime and/or overnight supports in or out of home

Essential Personnel can assist you in a co-operative and supportive manner to achieve as much independence as possible in your day-to-day living.

Support can include:

Social and Community Participation

  • Shopping and errands
  • Assistance in Daily Life and Health and Well Being
  • Volunteering opportunities
  • Transition to work options
  • The transition from school options
  • Support and assistance to attend education courses such as TAFE
  • Assistance to go out in your community
  • Accommodation options, individual and shared

Essential Personnel believes that there is a place for everyone in our community, and would love to assist you to access a number of social and community based activities and groups including:

  • Gym
  • Sporting activities and/or groups
  • Horticulture
  • Outings (Zoo, cinema, concerts, discos)
  • Lawn Bowls
  • Ten Pin Bowling
  • Horse riding
  • Social events including BBQs, games nights, bingo, quiz nights, pool and darts.
  • Specialised classes and groups such as floristry, music, photography and art.
  • Any other innovative dreams and ideas that you may have.

Essential Personnel have 30 years’ experience working with people to find and maintain employment.  We have the skills, experience and networks to assist in the exploration of employment options. We will work with you to find how your skills, interests and hobbies, can help you find meaningful employment.  Opportunities which are suited to you as an individual, anytime in your life. FAQs

Am I eligible to get your service?

Any individual with a disability can receive services and supports from Essential Personnel.

How do I pay?

Most participants have either an NDIS plan or a plan from Department of Communities, Disability Services. However you can pay for supports on a fee for service, private arrangement with Essential Personnel.

How do I know if I can get help?

Do you provide transport ?

Essential Personnel can provide transport for individuals to access services and supports which may incur a kilometer charge. This will be discussed on an individual basis.

Do you provide family support ?

Essential Personnel can link you and family members/carers with various support networks and opportunities. 

Are staff qualified/trained ?

Essential Personnel invests greatly in ensuring staff are capable and competent in providing quality services and supports. We support staff to gain the right skills and training to conduct their work in a safe manner, with the tools and skills required.
