These morning tea events celebrate and thank local carers for their wonderful support in our community. It is our hope that carers who come can make long-lasting connections with other carers and support services through this event.
In the Wheatbelt carers do not often have an opportunity to connect with other carers, so this morning tea would provide you with a relaxed environment in which you can make those connections.
Events like this help carers to grapple with issues around advocacy and discover valuable and different supports available to them, and to gain a shared understanding of ways to support vulnerable people.
Essential Personnel is celebrating National Carers Week at two locations this year.
